Whistleblower Protection Policy
As part of ongoing efforts to improve Corporate Governance, Maahad Tahfiz Negeri Pahang (MTNP) has created a Whistleblower Protection Policy to make it easier for MTNP’s staff and public to report violations of the code or integrity such as fraud, corruption, serious financial irregularities and misusing the power of a person appointed in MTNP or MTNP Subsidiaries more effectively. (Refer to Act 711 of the Whistleblower Protection Act 2010)
Complaint Identity Is Protected
Any individual who wants to report corruption and integrity violations will be protected by the Whistleblower Protection Policy. Under this Whistleblower Protection Policy, a report can be made against any individual associated with MTNP, if suspected of corruption and breach of integrity. Any reported case of misconduct or breach of integrity will be investigated with relevant procedures and laws. The complainant’s information will be protected/confidential from any party. The complainant will be also be protected from any retaliation by the person being complained about. If the policy is not used, the complainant can make a complaint directly to SPRM.

MTNP welcomes anonymous complaints.
To enable the investigation to be carried out efficiently and effectively, the information that needs to be included is:
- Complainant’s name, telephone number, mailing address and email.
- The name, telephone number and mailing address of any party named in the complaint.
- Specific details of how, why and when the matter of compained occured.
- Evidence or witness information that can help the investigation.
The main criteria of reporting is true information based on evidence and does not involve the personal interests of any party.
